1. Seller. Centro de Estudios en Genómica y Nutrición SL (CESGEN), CIF B25759184, Parc Científic i Tecnològic Agroalimentari de Lleida (Agrobiotech Lleida), Turó de Gardeny, building 23A, 25003 Lleida, Spain.
2. Scope. These terms apply to enrolments in courses offered at campus.cesgen.com, by consumers and by professionals. Enrolling requires accepting them.
3. Courses and access. Each course page describes its content, format, language and price. Courses are delivered online through your student account. Access to a paid course lasts for as long as the course is offered on campus.cesgen.com, and in any case for at least 12 months from enrolment. Free courses may require an account.
4. Prices and payment. Prices are shown in euros and include VAT where applicable, according to the buyer’s country of residence. Business customers who provide a valid EU VAT number may be invoiced without VAT under the reverse-charge rules. Payment is made by PayPal, which also accepts cards. An invoice is issued for every purchase; professionals may provide their company details and VAT number at checkout.
5. Right of withdrawal for consumers. Consumers in the European Union normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason. Because courses are digital content supplied immediately, at checkout you will be asked to give your express consent to immediate access to the course and to acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once access begins (Article 103(m) of the Spanish consumer protection law, Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007). If you have not accessed any course content, you may still withdraw within 14 days of purchase using our withdrawal form, and we will refund the full amount using the same payment method within 14 days.
6. No refunds after access. Once access to a course has begun, the purchase is final and no refunds are given, without prejudice to the statutory rights of consumers described in clause 5 and to any rights that cannot be excluded by law.
7. Use of the content. Your access is personal and non-transferable. Sharing your login, downloading videos by technical means, or redistributing course materials is not permitted and may lead to the account being closed without refund.
8. Certificates. On completing a course, learners receive a CESGEN certificate of completion. It certifies completion of the course and is not an official academic qualification or a professional licence.
9. Educational nature. Courses are educational. They do not qualify learners to provide medical, dietetic or genetic diagnosis, and they do not replace the professional regulations that apply to each health profession.
10. Availability and changes. CESGEN may update course content to keep it current. If a paid course is withdrawn before you have had at least 12 months of access, CESGEN will offer an equivalent course or a refund proportional to the remaining part of that period.
11. Complaints. Contact us through our contact form or at contacto@cesgen.com. We aim to reply within 10 working days.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction. These terms are governed by Spanish law. Consumers may bring proceedings in the courts of their place of residence; for professionals, the courts of Lleida have jurisdiction.
